Hertzoscópio - Experimental and Transdisciplinary Arts Festival

The Hertzoscópio – Experimental and Transdisciplinary Arts Festival aims to stimulate the creation and dissemination of experimental and transdisciplinary arts through the presentation of works, concerts, and performances by both recognized artists and promising new talents, seeking to consolidate the expression of an inter and transdisciplinary culture within the context of contemporary arts.

The festival's scope includes the following areas: experimental music (electroacoustics, live electronics, acousmatic music), video art, intermedia art, and multimedia installations. This festival aims to provide training and to valorize an emerging audience that is increasingly interested in the use of new technologies associated with the main artistic forms of expression.

Hertzoscópio aims to act as a new dynamic focal point for the establishment of experimental arts. It also seeks to be a platform for questioning and exchanging transdisciplinary experiences that broaden and challenge our concepts and assumptions about art.

This festival serves as an open door to difference and limitless creation.

We focus on the following activities:

• Concerts of experimental music, electronics & electroacoustics

• Intermedia Performances (sound + video)

• Experimental Video Art Exhibition

• Workshops

• Conferences about the use of new technologies & creative artistic expressions, etc.

The artistic direction is working to ensure optimal conditions for the organization of the next edition of the Hertzoscópio Festival.
